We've spent our professional lives helping companies and leaders tell a better story. We've worked on staff at major corporations and creative agencies and understand both perspectives. Our Keynote colleagues are among the best in the business – long on talent and team-oriented.

Janet Jordan

Janet Photo Janet has helped company leaders – the human face of brand marketing – tell a better story since forming Keynote Communications in 1989. She has prepared clients for everything from Board presentations, pitches, press conferences and town halls to multi-media events. Her clients have appeared on the Today Show, Nightline, NPR and Meet the Press.

Janet has a Masters degree in Communication from Purdue University and serves on the adjunct faculty of Suffolk University. She has taught in executive programs at Boston University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Janet managed a company-wide sales training program at Harris Corporation in Melbourne, Florida, and worked with sales executives in the US and Europe. She was an Account Executive for Envision, a multi-media producer in Boston, before launching Keynote Communications.

Janet is active in the American Marketing Association and serves on the Advisory Board of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Women's Network. She regularly speaks at local and national events.

Steven Halling

Steven Photo Steve has more than twenty-five years of experience in marketing. He worked on staff at several leading creative agencies as a producer/director of major marketing campaigns and events and has won over 30 awards for creative excellence. His clients have included Coca-Cola, Cognos and the Smithsonian Institute.

More recently, Steve was Director of Brand Strategy for IBM's Lotus Workplace and Portal software business. While at IBM, Steve led cross-functional teams throughout the company in the development and execution of strategic brand and product positioning programs. At Lotus, Steve was Managing Director of Lotusphere, IBM's largest customer and business partner loyalty event. Prior to joining Lotus, Steve was General Manager of a Boston-based events firm.

Steve brings a rare combination of experience to projects. His career has alternately tapped his creative and analytic abilities, his strategic thinking and tactical execution skills, his agency and corporate points of view. Steve is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and from 2006-2008, served as President of the American Marketing Association's Boston Chapter.
